Snowmass Mardi Gras Parade & Celebration Date(s): 02/16/10 Details: The biggest Mardi Gras bash in the mountains starts off with The Mother of All Ascensions, a wild, costumed, 1,741-foot vertical uphill race at the crack of dawn. King Cake giveaways, a bead and prize throw, crawdad boils, live music, a wild costumed parade, mask-making & face painting for kids, and partying late into the night at local bars.
