Details: The inaugural Snowmass Culinary & Arts Festival brings foodies, wine connoisseurs, and art lovers together in a visual and delectable feast. It features celebrity chefs, a juried art exhibit with regionally and nationally recognized artists, food, and presentation expert panels, and a Palette of Pairings featuring specialty foods with wines & spirits, all set in the scenic mountain splendor of Snowmass Village, Colorado.

10:00am–6:00pm, Snowmass Village Mall — Artist Exhibition: Regionally and Nationally recognized artists exhibit their work in various media categories: ceramics, drawing, fiber, glass, graphics & printmaking, jewelry, metal-works, mixed media, painting, photography, sculpture and wood.

10:00am–11:00am, Workshop Tent — The Art of Presentation: You spend a good deal of time cooking up the perfect dinner. Learn easy ways to impress guests by bringing it all together on the table creatively and flower arrangements to make your table beautiful. Presented by PBS Chef CHRISTY ROST.

11:30am–4:00pm, Anderson Ranch (offsite location) — Anderson Ranch 30th Annual Art Auction: 11:30am – Picnic & Silent Auction; 1:30pm – Live Auction.

11:30am–12:30pm, Workshop Tent — CELEBRITY CHEF COOKING WORKSHOP: ALFRED PORTALE, Executive Chef & Co-Owner, Gotham Bar and Grill in New York City

1:00pm–1:45pm, Workshop Tent — New American Cuisine & Local Foods Panel Discussion: Alfred Portale and Laurent Tourondel, presented by edibleAspen.

2:30pm–3:30pm, Workshop Tent — CELEBRITY CHEF COOKING WORKSHOP: LAURENT TOURONDEL, Executive Chef & Owner BLT Restaurants in New York City.

4:00pm–6:00pm, Snowmass Village Mall and Workshop Tent — PALATE OF PAIRINGS: Indulge in a two hour feast of small plates prepared by local chefs and paired with wines and spirits, while strolling the outdoors artist exhibitors. Featured Chefs: FRANK BONANNO, Executive Chef & Owner Mizuna, Luca d’Italia, Osteria Marco, & Bones in Denver, and PBS Chef Christy Rost.

7:00pm — Brothers' Grille & Kannah Creek Brewing Co. Five-Course Beer Pairing Dinner
Experience five courses of delectable treats, paired with hand-crafted beers from Kannah Creek Brewing Co., normally unavailable outside of their brewpub in Grand Junction, Colorado. See the menu here. $45 per person. 11:00am–1:30pm — GASTRONOMIC TOUR OF SNOWMASS VILLAGE: Hosted by Foodie Food Tours. Foodie Food Tours invites you to experience this food lover’s mecca by joining us on a walking food tour of Snowmass Village. You will be guided by a local expert to the most distinguished restaurants of this culinary town. Meet and enjoy intimate conversation with local celebrity chefs from il Poggio Restaurante, The Artisan and others. Our local chefs will welcome you into their kitchens and converse about the food they cook as you enjoy their signature dishes.
